On my hair journey for long healthy hair, even if it's on the thinner side. I didn't want to bleach my hair this time so I went for a box dye from IGK because they have the most beautiful color range I've seen in a while, so many beautiful blondes and brunettes. I have been doing the bleach & tone method for years now, but I felt the toner didn't last. I'm not a fan of boxed dyes but this Pampas color is just too dang pretty I just had to try it. Let's see how long the color lasts! I will keep you posted on my vlogs.
Here are the products I'm currently using and swear by for repairing hair that's been destroyed by the constant battle of hair extensions and bleaching.
Pampas, a boho beautiful blonde tone in the color 9N.
I did really like the way my hair turned out and might even go one blonde shade darker next time, maybe for Autumn. I liked the look of "Out in Malibu". Check out their color ranges if you want a refresh!
BUY
If you have damaged blonde hair and want a shampoo & conditioner that makes your hair feel AMAZING I have been using this affordable Tresemme' duo for years now. Any time I switch I notice a significant change in the condition of my hair. This is all I use now and it's such a bonus that it's so cheap (under $20 for two giant bottles!)
Scalp Serums are my new favorite hair care step. When my hair is damp before drying, I massage a few pipettes into the scalp. I do this once a week and really notice a difference in hair breakage- I have fewer split ends and the hair shaft is not getting as frayed halfway down. It's pretty amazing actually. I think this is what has made my hair far less frizzy.
Ok hear me out. This. This right here is truly a miracle product. I was recently doing hair for a wedding and noticed a bridesmaids' hair was so thick, healthy, and crazy long. She said It's a 10 Keratin is the reason why! I've already been using this for the past couple of months, and if you watch my videos you will hear me saying recently that I don't know what it is but my hair just had a major growth spurt. This bridesmaid confirmed it, and this product is why. You can purchase it below but she had a great tip, to go to TJ Maxx in the discount beauty section and you can find it for a steal of a deal. Keep in mind this brand carries a few varieties but the keratin is the key.
Silke Heat Defense Serum
I prefer a heat defense serum over a spray. I put a few pumps of this in my hand and work into my hair when it's still damp then blow dry. I feel like sprays are nice, but they re-wet my hair whereas I'm trying to avoid spending more heat time on my hair. This also helps smooth the hair cuticle so it's sily soft afterward.
I've really enjoyed being a little more natural in the blonde shades and think it compliments my skin tone much better. If you try these products, let me know how amazing your hair is after a month because girlfriends, I swear by it.
xoxo
